Question 53: What dost thou believe concerning the Holy Ghost?

to make me by a true faith,
partaker of Christ and all his benefits, (c)
that he may comfort me (d)

1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father,
the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
Gen.1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was
upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face
of the waters.
Isa.48:16 Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in
secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and
now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me.
1 Cor.3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the
Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
1 Cor.6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy
Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
Acts 5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to
lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
Acts 5:4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was
sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this
thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

Matt.28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in
